Destination Des Moines is inviting everyone to enjoy a very unique and special holiday event on Friday, Dec. 7 – a Charlie Brown Christmas Tree Lighting!
The fun begins at 6 p.m. at Big Catch Plaza, next to the QFC at 21815 Marine View Drive, and will include a tree lighting and the usual holiday fun.
There will be free Hot cocoa and Cookies courtesy John L Scott Des Moines.
Entertainment will be provided by the Des Moines Elementary Band and the Hi-liners Musical Theater.
Caroling up to Big Catch Plaza will begin at Scotch and Vine at 5 p.m., and will pick up anyone who would like to join in along the way. Salon Michelle welcomes carolers to meet at her salon.
And there will also be a visit from Santa.
