Sponsorship opportunities are still available for the 2013 Cove to Clover [2] fundraiser – a fun, all-volunteer based benefit for several local charities – coming Sunday, April 28.

Businesses are invited to become Sponsors, but the time to participate is closing soon. This is a great, community-based event that will get you excellent exposure to thousands of active, local residents. We know, because South King Media is proud to have been the Media Sponsor since the beginning – read our previous coverage and see photos and videos here [3].

“Cove to Clover is a great large-scale community event that returns all proceeds back into the community,” said Organizer John Nelson. “Invest to promote your business and as a bonus C2C invests back in the community.”

Here’s a list of local charities that benefited from the $37,000 raised in 2011:

  • Highline Area Food Bank: $16,000
  • Highline Schools Foundation/Schools: $12,500
  • Hospitality House: $3,000
  • Para Los Ninos: $2,250
  • YETI Club: $1,550
  • Emergency Family Relief: $500
  • Hi-Liners: $500
  • Girl Scouts: $350
  • Boy Scouts: $350TOTAL: $37,000
