Boeing Test Pilot Capt. Emily Bliss will share her real-world aviation experiences at the Des Moines Activity Center starting at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 5, in a presentation hosted by retired Flight Test Engineer John McEvoy.
“With over three years of fascinating presentations on the field of aviation, coordinator John McEvoy continues with the topic of women in aviation,” reads an announcement. “”Capt. Bliss will share her experiences in North Dakota with Lockhead Martin as a flight instructor, maintenance test pilot and her current position as a Boeing production test pilot. Capt. Bliss has over 5,000 hours in fifty-seven types of aircraft. Please join us!”
