Winter is fast approaching – have you thought about how your 12–18-year olds will stay engaged and active through the dark, gloomy months ahead?  Get them on the Des Moines Parks and Recreation SKI BUS with Mohan Skiing and Boarding!

Six Fridays after school beginning in January the ski bus will take you on a deluxe charter bus to the Summit at Snoqualmie with students from Aviation, Mt. Rainier High Schools, and Pacific Middle School supervised by recreation staff and volunteer chaperones.

Second year Ski Bus participant Owen Mattson from AHS says:

“The best part of ski bus is being able to hang out and have fun with your friends after a long week of school.

It provides a sense of community, and the program always makes sure you’ll have a buddy.

Whether a new one, or an old one!”

This is an opportunity for teens of all abilities since lessons are available at the summit!  Scholarships are available through Mohan.

Register today at skimohan.com [2] and develop new skills, be active, and make new friends!

Contact Cassie Swan, program coordinator at 206-870-6582 if you have questions.
