
Des Moines’ Landmark Event Center, Parks & Recreation and Highline Community College have joined forces to offer fun and games at the Landmark on the Sound’s annual “Halloween at the Haunted Castle,” coming up Saturday, Oct. 29th from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Perhaps this will be the year that “George,” the infamous resident ghost, shows himself to you? Or your kids?
Admission is $5 per child, and non-perishable food donations will be accepted for the Des Moines Area Food Bank. It will also serve as a fundraiser for Masonic Outreach Services.
“We can’t believe Halloween is right around the corner, we are gearing up for our annual Halloween Carnival with Des Moines Parks & Recreaction and Highline Community College,” reads a Facebook post. “This year’s event is very family friendly for kids 2-12.”
