Here’s what will be fresh at this Saturday’s Des Moines Farmers Market, which runs from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at South Marina Park:
VENDOR
Do you recognize the farm on the corner of the southern entrance to the market? They are Cha New Life. They’ve been at the market since the beginning. Before farming their Dad was a mechanic in California, he became a farmer when he moved to Washington with his family. He’s been farming for 6 years (as long as the market has been open!) out of Duvall. Their farm is a family business, the kids work too. They are in Des Moines, Crossroads, Redmond, Duvall, and Issaquah farmers markets. Cha New Life farm does not have a store, they only do seasonal business so be sure to support them while you can! In October, check their stall for these great pumpkin boquets, it’s a bouquet of flowers in a pumpkin, very creative and very cool so get them while they last!MUSIC
Charlie Spring will be the market’s musician this week. He plays for just about every audience whether you’re a kid, a cowboy, a blues or a ballad, he’ll play something you like so come by to listen!SPANISH SPECIALTIES
A new vvendor is starting this week, Spanish Specialties! She is going to bring down more food to the market. She will have tamales (cheese and chicken), tacos (Beef, fish and chicken), empanadas, tostadas, and corn with mango and cheese. This is her first week so try her food, meet her, and welcome her to the market!YARDLEY CHIROPRACTIC
