MUSIC
Local favorite The Saltwater Saints are the band this weekend. They play a wide variety of music, they’ll be sure to play something you enjoy so you be sure to come on down to enjoy their playing!
DES MOINES FOOD BANK
The Food Bank’s free lunch program has ended for the summer but have you heard of the Des Moines Food Bank’s weekend backpack program? No? Well, it’s a great program the food bank puts on during the school year to help distribute backpacks of food to children at risk of hunger over the weekends. To fill these backpacks for the kids they need individual serving items of outmeal, EZ Mac, 100% juice, cup-o-soup, and fruit cups. Any and all donations help so if you can, try to feed the kids!
YARDLEY CHIRPORACTIC
Yardley Chiropractic is the community group for this Saturday. They will have their booth down at the market this weekend so come down to get your chiropractic questions answered!
