Des Moines Area Food Bank Announces Mobile Summer Meals Program

The Des Moines Area Food Bank has announced that it will be offering area low-income children FREE lunches through a mobile summer meals program, beginning Thursday (June 24) and continuing through Sept. 3rd at two different locations.

They will be serving any child ages 1-18 (Monday through Friday) at the following locations:

• Madrona Elementary School, 11:15-11:45 am
  20301 32nd Ave South
• Midway Park, 12:15-12:45 pm
  So 221st St & 29th Ave South

Through the generous support of the Des Moines Legacy Foundation, the City of Des Moines Parks and Recreation will be providing activity time at least two days per week at the Midway Park location.
